We have been staying with a lovely family on their Great North Ranch close to the border with the D R Congo in the hope of making a balloon flight. However, in spite of local knowledge and good weather conditions we have been thwarted yet again. There just isn't anywhere suitable or accessible to launch from or land safely on the prevailing winds.
We are about to leave early to head for the Tanzanian border and will stop overnight at Mpika. Hopefully a more detailed story of our travels since leaving Botswana will follow before too long.
